The Google search feature indexes words in all articles so users can search articles and archives to find articles on the subjects they want.

All articles that contain a reference to that word or words are displayed for the site visitor to examine.

Article indexing is not activated until your site has been activated. So the search feature will not work for a few days after the site is first created and referenced by a domain name.
